On-page SEO


On page, SEO is the practice of optimizing individual web pages in order to rank. It is referred to both the content and HTML code of a page that can be optimized, Examples of this include measures to optimize the content or improve the Meta Description and Title tags. Conversely, off-page SEO refers to links and other signals.

Meta Description

The meta description is a snippet of up to about 155 characters – a tag in HTML – which summarizes a page's content. Search engines show the meta description in search results mostly when the searched-for phrase is within the description, so optimizing the meta description is crucial for on-page SEO
For a page 155 to160 characters are used and For a post, 155 characters are used The page listing and post listing are different.
 Pixel width is 1024.
 spelling mistakes and grammatical errors are not allowed here.
 Meta description must be unique.
 URL must have only 90 characters.

Rich Snippets

Why are rich snippets important for SEO?

Rich snippets stand out from the other snippets. They look much nicer and you will instantly know more, just by looking at them. You will know whether other people liked the homemade ice cream and how long it will take you to make it. Rich snippets are snippets that have a higher click-through rate. People like to click on rich snippets.

If the click-through rate of a snippet increases, you will get more traffic from that search result. Not because your position in the search engine changed, but just because more people click on your result. In the long run, rich snippets will affect your ranking as well. As more people click on your result, Google will notice that people prefer your page above other ones. That’ll definitely improve your rankings in the long run!

Header Section

HTML defines six levels of headings. A heading element implies all the font changes, paragraph breaks before and after, and any white space necessary to render the heading. The heading elements are H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, and H6 with H1 being the highest (or most important) level and H6 the least.


H1:- is the main portion of HTML. The most relevant data will be shown as a header. Primary keywords are used here. The primary key considers the important search key. H1 having the properties are pre-sized, word limitations, and contrasting.



H2:-  is used to represent the secondary keywords, or represent the next level keyword.

Google SandBox

Temporary data storage is processed here, the database that makes confusion about the data and contents in a page that is placed in sandbox. The Google Sandbox is very similar to a new website being placed on probation and kept lower than expected in searches, prior to being given full value for its incoming links and content.

Content Optimization

Content Optimization is a process in which a web page and its content are optimized to become more attractive, useful and actionable to users. The processes typically include fixes and improvements on technical performance (ex: page speed) and content copy for it to perform and rank better on search engines.

Anchor text

The anchor text is also known as the link label or link title. The words contained in the anchor text help determine the ranking that the page will receive by search engines such as Google or Yahoo. Links without anchor text commonly happen on the web and are called naked URLs, or URL anchor texts. Different browsers will display anchor text differently, and proper use of anchor text can help the page linked to rank for those keywords in search engines.

Keyword Optimization

Keyword optimization (also known as keyword research) is the act of researching, analyzing and selecting the best keywords to target to drive qualified traffic from search engines to your website.
Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization, keyword density can be used to determine whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase.
  • Content must be simple
  • The focusing keyword is used at the beginning of the content
  • keyword used just before the full stop and commas(it makes the ranking faster)

Image Optimization

Optimizing web images is a process of delivering high-quality images in the right format, dimension, size, and resolution while keeping the smallest possible size. Image optimization can be done in different ways be it by resizing the images, caching or by compressing the size.
